Therapeutic Body Work
The world of massage therapy is broad. I use my deep background in anatomy and continuing studies in specialty techniques for using massage as a corrective tool for bodies in pain to help clients explore an new way to heal.
During these sessions, I will look at how your muscles connect throughout the presentation of your body and look at the complete picture. By doing this, I discover connections that may lead to knots, adhesions stiffness, joint pain and general misalignments, helping you find relief to pain you may think is permanent or alleviate some of the discomfort to permanent pain.
Restore fluidity, function and comfort by becoming "unstuck" and move more naturally again, free of pain.
HYPNOSIS & MINDFULNESS
Hypnosis is not about clucking like a chicken on stage during an act. It is a deep state of relaxation that opens your mind to suggestions, but never unwillingly. Both mindfulness and hypnosis are methods that change our inner states, helping to break long held unwanted habits, behaviors or mindsets.
Hypnosis is very close to a natural state of mind. During these sessions I help you access hypnotic states that support your personal goals. Perhaps you smoke, overeat or experience high anxiety. Perhaps you can't shake shyness or lack of confidence. Do early negative experiences still prevent you from positive actions today? Our brains get stuck in patterns that they no longer need. Simple guided hypnosis lets us see those for what they are and set them aside in favor of new and more satisfying habits.
Explore this method and change your thought processes through this deeply peaceful and satisfying experience. The first session will include up to a 30-minute conversation about what you’d like to change, followed by a 60-minute hypnosis session.

Yoga is an ancient practice of both mind and body. It encompasses many techniques suited for individual goals, cleanses the mind and body, and is a journey of discovery.
Unlike many fitness options that are fast paced or focus on building isolated muscle groups one at a time, yoga has a flow that engages large parts of your body in stretching and strengthening. This practice releases habits of tension that may have been causing their bodies to clench up for a lifetime. Just learning the mental quiet discipline and rhythmic breathing of yoga is a big step forward in healthy living.
Yoga can help you recover from accidents and gain mobility regardless of your age, weight or physical limitations. It’s not about the poses, but about recognizing and transcending our self-imposed limitations. I offer individual consultations and private classes, and offer modifications that suit your individual needs. Good teachers modify suggested class poses to suit individual needs. If important, I can consult with your doctors or physical therapists for a better understanding of your goals and limitations.
